If you need to sell items from your website, the easiest way is to use PayPal. They offer a free shopping cart that I can set up on your site.

The shopping cart has some limitations. Your prices have to be firmly set; it cannot be contingent upon the buyer choosing options. You can have two sets of options such as size and color that the buyer can choose from, but they cannot affect the price. There has to be a separate "Add to Shopping Cart" button for every different price.

But most sites can make do with these limitations, especially given that the shopping cart software is free. PayPal charges fees based on your transactions, which start at 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction.

And best of all, I don't charge extra for setting up this programming on your site, just my normal hourly fee!
