EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:

1/1990-present. Director of Sales & Internet Development, City of Waco.

Manage a total of 9 people - 3 salaried salespeople and one supervisor over 5 hourly employees. Training, hiring, firing, sales, marketing, tradeshows and account management. Responsible for two budget areas totaling approximately $500,000.

1-2000-present, Carla Pendergraft Associates, owner and principal.

Freelance Web designer, speaker, and consultant. Created many award-winning Web sites for businesses and non-profits. Portfolio is located at www.carlapendergraft.com. Also speak on the topics of social media, search engine optimization techniques and Web marketing.

8/1984-12/1990, Citicorp Diners Club.

I began as a Unit Manager or line supervisor in the Englewood, Colorado processing facility. I managed a customer service unit and foreign accounting unit, with 10-15 employees each. In 1986, I received a promotion and was relocated to their Chicago, Illinois headquarters. There, I worked as a Sales Analyst/ Database Manager. I used a FOCUS system for the database work. This involved maintaining a 33,000 record database, updating programs each month and paying out $300,000 in sales incentives to individuals each quarter. In 1988 was named Manager of Marketing Communications & Technology. This position involved managing all print materials for portions of Diners Club’s business. I also created and managed a sales incentive database as well as Diner’s Club’s national trade show program. I wrote copy for a newsletter sent to over 400,000 customers each month.

Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, expert-level HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Professional, FTP, KoolMoves Flash, Windows Movie Maker, many others.

PERSONAL:

I enjoy reading, teaching, running, and biking. I have three Huskies. I volunteer and serve at several community events each year including the Miracle Match Marathon, HEB Feast of Sharing, MDA Telethon, and other events. I am available to travel as needed.

GREATEST PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

I have finished a full marathon, and biked a century (100 miles).
